Anthropolo is located in the Fuller Laboratories building on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute campus. For directions and parking information, go to our Location page.

Arrival

Please arrive 15 minutes early so as to ensure time for check-in. Check-in will include information about the experience, safety guidelines, and the opportunity to ask any questions necessary prior to entry.

Payment

Entry to Anthropolo costs $15.

Available Assistance

An attendant will be present within the room to answer questions about interactive media and immersive experiences, as well as provide assistance with the room’s technology upon request. You will also encounter one or more actors who will provide information within the narrative; in case of an emergency, however, they can also direct you toward further assistance.

Recommended Ages

Anthropolo contains mild horror elements and its recommended age range is 13+.

Safe Play

Please do not break or damage the static props. Things like walls, scenery, items that are plugged in (with some exceptions), and accessible cords should not be tampered with. Assume that if something is blocked off, it is not intended to be interacted with. If things do not move with ease, please let them be. 

Interacting with the features of static props—for example, opening the door of a cabinet—is acceptable and encouraged.

Please treat the space gently and with respect. When in doubt, ask the room or lobby attendant how or whether an element can be interacted with.

Policies

  • Guests may still enter if they arrive late, but will be asked to leave at the end of their time slot.
  • Reach out to gr-anthropoloproductionteam@wpi.edu if you need to cancel and would like a refund, refunds are decided on a case-by-case basis.
  • Intentional damage to the space or the endangerment of attendants or guests may result in actions including but not limited to immediate removal from the experience without refund; such decisions will be at the sole discretion of the team or its WPI affiliates.

Possible Triggers

  • Horror themed environment. NO jumpscares, blood, or gore.
  • Drawings depicting animals hunting other animals. NOT graphic.
  • Dark room. It is not that small, but may be a risk for players with claustrophobia.
